1. Cancelling an Online Order
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you generally have the right to cancel your order without providing a reason. This cancellation window remains open from the moment you place your order until 14 days after the day you receive your goods. A consumer is defined as an individual purchasing for purposes outside of their professional trade or business.
To initiate a cancellation, please email halotattoouk@gmail.com with a clear statement. Include your name and order number to help us identify your transaction. If your tattoo supplies have already been dispatched, you may still cancel, but you will be responsible for returning the items to us.
2. Returning Goods After Cancellation
Items must be sent back within 14 days of your cancellation notice. Please ensure you package all items securely. Include your proof of purchase and return all accessories originally supplied. We recommend keeping proof of postage. While original outer packaging is preferred, it is not a strict legal requirement for exercising your rights. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning items due to a change of mind.
3. Handling and Condition
You may inspect your goods as you would in a retail shop. We reserve the right to reduce a refund if the value of the goods has been diminished by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature. We do not apply restocking fees for standard consumer cancellations.
4. Hygiene-Sealed and Personalised Goods
Please note that the right to cancel does not apply to goods that are sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons if they become unsealed after delivery. For professional tattoo supplies, this hygiene exception specifically applies to sterile tattoo needles and tattoo cartridges once the protective seal is broken. These exceptions do not impact your rights regarding faulty or damaged goods.
5. Refunds for Cancellations
For valid cancellations, we will refund the price of the returned goods. If the entire order is cancelled, we will also refund the cost of our standard delivery. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence of their return. Payments will be returned via the original method used (Wix Payments or PayPal).
6. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your tattoo needles, tattoo cartridges, or other equipment arrive damaged or faulty, contact halotattoouk@gmail.com immediately. For consumer purchases, goods must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. You have a 30-day right to reject faulty goods for a full refund. Beyond this, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement. We will cover reasonable return costs for items that are verified as faulty or incorrectly supplied.
Important Safety Note: Do not post used tattoo needles or contaminated sharps. Contact us first to arrange safe disposal or collection.
7. Sale Items
Items purchased at a discount carry the same statutory rights as full-price products. A disclosed fault at the time of purchase does not entitle you to a subsequent refund for that specific fault.
8. Exchanges
To receive a different product, the standard procedure is to return the original item for a refund and place a new order. Contact us to check current stock availability.
9. Business Purchases
If you are purchasing specifically for a tattoo studio or professional trade, consumer change-of-mind rights do not apply. Returns for non-faulty business orders are only accepted by prior agreement. Business customers retain all contractual rights regarding defective supplies.
10. Missing Refunds
